Pregnant Today, Mommy and Daddy Tomorrow

Well gang, Kyle and I have made it to the day before Grace's birthday! We are both so excited and can't wait to look at her beautiful face! We have made guesses on her weight and length, and for documentation here are those guesses:
Leah- 8 Ibs. 2 oz 21 inches
Kyle- 7 Ibs. 12 oz 20 1/2 inches
May the best woman win! haha
Anyway, here is a picture of me at 39 weeks and one day! I can't believe how much a stomach can stretch and expand in nine months!
I had to document as well that I DO NOT have swollen ankles! Thank you JESUS!! Goes to show that some of the genes from your parents are good ones!!
This is how Kyle and I look on the outside as we wait for the Big day tomorrow!
And here is how we feel on the inside! haha! I love Kyle's expression

Kyle and I can't wait to be parents and begin this exciting new chapter of our lives! Thank you for all the prayers and encouragement! We could not make it with out wonderful friends and family like you and the awesome power of GOD!

Not long now!!!

So the days are counting down to Grace's arrival. Kyle and I are in the process of buying a house, but because of some annoying taxes we are a little delayed in the process. It's been a good growing experience for Kyle and I, though we are really ready for the learning and growing to stop. haha. Right now I have set up a temporary nursery for Grace at my parents house. So thanks mom and dad for letting me transform one of your rooms and bog down your house with piles of stuff.
Here are some pics of the "nursery"

we also got our travel system so we can bring Grace home from the hospital.
My nephew Noah was so nice and helped me practice!

Here are some pics of my belly at 36 weeks.

One Year ago...Yesterday!

Kyle and I celebrated our first anniversary yesterday! We went on a fun date to dinner and talked about the greatness of our first year of marriage. It's amazing how much can happen and how much life can change in a short year. We laughed at all our fun surprises and blessings, and discussed our moments of learning and growing together as a couple. But enough talk...let's look at pictures!!
The Wedding and the Honeymoon! WHOO HOOO!!!
Sharing our first home....oh how we DON'T miss that apartment!!
Some CRAZY firsts....the snow storm and the hail storm--though we both agreed getting snowed in our fist Christmas together was pretty awesome and made for beautiful memories.
We both agree this was our GREATEST accomplishment!
It's been an amazing first year! I am really looking forward to the next 99!! I LOVE YOU KYLE!

On another note, this past week my mom, sisters, and I went on an all girl +kids trip to Galveston. It was a lot of fun watching Noah's fearless love of the ocean and Ava's pure terror, though in time she did get braver. Chase was all about catching the creatures from the ocean and creating his own "zoo pond." I really enjoyed all the laughs I got to share with my mom and sisters. It's too few and far between that we are all together.

Sara, Amy and I at Palm Beach, a man-made white sand beach. Lot's of fun and the water was SO much cooler than the ocean. I was appreciative.--BTW-if you ever wanna hide in your swimsuit stand beside your 32 week pregnant sister.
Mom and I on the Beach!
we went to the Strand to shop one day and I had to have my picture made with this shop!!! AWWWWW......
32 Weeks and counting!!!

BONHAM HERE WE COME

Well yesterday Kyle and I had a life changing day! Kyle was offered the Youth and Family Minister position at Northside Church of Christ in Bonham, Texas! We are both so excited, overwhelmed, and pretty nervous! Kyle will begin his position around mid-July. We are waiting to make the big move after Sherri and David's wedding July 3rd! I am so overwhelmed with the GREATNESS of God! Since Kyle and I found out we were pregnant I have been praying that God would provide us the opportunity for me to stay at home with Grace, and all my prayers have been answered! We are going to start our house hunt next week, so please keep praying for doors to open and things to fall exactly into place!

I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE A HOME AND A NURSERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, deep breath, and here we GO!!

30 weeks and 5 days :)

Hello Dear Readers of the blog! Well I am approaching my 31st week of pregnancy! I can't believe how fast this whole thing is flying by! I thought when summer hit things would slow down, but not at all! Maybe that's because I haven't slowed down. I went to AR a few weeks ago to see Amy, Pete, and Noah! Noah was so sweet! He was crawling all over the house and the happiest little boy! Anyways, after that I was home for a day and then went to Vegas (see previous post) then came home for another day and went to Bonham, Texas for Kyle's interview! Kyle ROCKED his interview by the way! He is DEFINITELY pursuing the career God created him to do. I was so proud to call him my husband the whole weekend! He is a born Youth Minister! I can't wait to see the amazing things God will do through him! We both feel really good about the interview and could possibly be moving to Bonham in the next few weeks! I am super excited about this because that means....house, nursery, and the opportunity to stay home with Grace for her first year! God has provided for our family so wonderfully! It taught patience along the way, but was well worth the wait. It's amazing the possibilities when you put God in the driver seat. We were asked to return to Bonham tomorrow, Friday, and I have a strong feeling they will offer Kyle the job. Hopefully I am not jumping the gun...but I guess we will know for sure in a few hours! Please be praying for our little family!!

Here is a belly pic of my today! I am starting to feel HUGE!! and just think, it's going to get bigger! haha

Completed Work!!

So I have finally completed all my little projects for Grace's room...and here they are!!
I added the verse...
This is a stool one of my coworkers was going to throw away, I saved it from that untimely death. I forgot to get a good before picture, but I had to pry off one of the legs and reattach it properly and sand it.
And here is the finished product! It is mosaic stones in the colors of her nursery with some very sparkly big ones scattered in.
This shelf I found in the shed of my Mammaw and Granddaddy's house.
After cleaning, sanding, painting, and decorating...this is it now!

I am having a lot of fun working on things for Grace!! I can't wait to put it all together in her room and bring her home!!!

Teaching conference in Vegas

I have just returned from a PLC (Professional Learning Community) conference in Las Vegas. Despite my moaning about having to go back to Vegas, a city I am not fond of, I had a really fun time with my coworkers. Here are some highlights from the trip.
Tuesday night Caitlin Taylor and I went to see The Lion King.
I took this picture in front of the Zeus fountain at Caesars Palace because about a year ago Kyle and I went to Vegas and I got the same pic. haha A lot changed in a year.
This was the pool of the gods at Caesars Palace where we stayed...so awesome
My relaxing by the pool with a frozen pink lemonade!
The view from my room was AMAZING...yes that is the Bellagio Fountain!

Summer has begun!!

Well I have been thoroughly enjoying my summer break so far. It started with Kyle and I moving in with Sara and Preston and OUT of our crummy apartment! Check out our new home/room!!

We are so thankful that Sara and Preston took us in temporarily. It will save us some mulla in the end. Also my Dad came with the cattle trailer and loaded all our stuff to store it for us! Thanks Dad!

To keep my self entertained I have been working on getting things ready for Grace's nursery. She may not have a room yet, but when she does I will be ready!
This is her name that is going to hang over her crib. I bought the letters and wood plaques and then painted them and glued pre-painted flowers and bugs on for decoration.

Look how well it matches her bedding! Thanks Mimi and Great-Grandma Kolster!

I am not quite finished with this plaque, but I painted it pink, modge-podged colored paper stripes and glued the pre-painted bug and flower. The completed work will have the verse- I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14- on it.

In two short days I will begin my third trimester! I feel like this pregnancy is FLYING by! It wont be long till I am holding my beautiful Gracie in my arms!

Here's a new belly pic!

Old News and New News

Hello Friends! Well I have a very LONG post for you all!!
First of all, Kyle and I had an intense hail storm this weekend. Kyle's car suffered some dents and dings and the outer pane of our bedroom window was busted. Other than that nothing too bad!

It was a lot of fun and Grace was so very blessed by all my coworkers kindness. It almost makes me feel bad for wanting to quit...but I have a pretty good excuse.
